PlayNex was born from a simple observation: despite the booming sports industry, the local heroes—the stringers, the bat knockers, the repair experts—were still running their businesses on paper notebooks and sticky notes.
We saw passionate shop owners buried under a mountain of repetitive questions like "Is my racket ready?" or "When can I pick it up?". Instead of focusing on their craft, they were stuck answering calls and flipping through paper notebooks to find order statuses.
On top of that, there was the endless loop of price enquiries. Explaining the cost of strings, bat knocking, and repairs over and over again. We knew a digital catalog could solve this instantly—giving customers transparent pricing and saving shop owners hours of conversation.
So, we built PlayNex. An all-in-one operating system designed specifically for the unique workflows of sports service businesses.
